Hey George, Yes, it will be helpful. However, it will also be overkill. The logic on the LSAT is fairly basic. You can cover the entirety of the formal logic within a few classes. Taking an entire semester (or reading through an entire logic textbook) would teach you more than you d ever need to know. Also, the development of your logic skills comes from discussing things with others and seeing how it works in action. I don t know how much help just a book of logic would help you, especially since they can be rather dense.

I m not sure what you mean. Aren t they just two terms for pretty much the same thing?

Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment. [1] The subject is complex, and there are several different definitions which generally include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis or evaluation of factual evidence.

In the term critical thinking , the word critical , (Grk. κριτικός = kritikos = "critic") derives from the word critic and implies a critique ; it identifies the intellectual capacity and the means "of judging", "of judgement", "for judging", and of being "able to discern". [6]

The President represents the Executive branch of government roughly analogous to Monarchical government (rule by one person).
