The following activity is great fun, and usually produces great results, but must be used with caution. Only try it with a class you are comfortable with, and who you think will cope with the situation. Also try to add a little humour where possible, ensuring that the children are aware that it's not real - you're just pretending!

Choose a name for a missing person (e.g. "Paul"), making sure that this is not the name of someone in the class. Before the lesson, put a chair in an empty space in the classroom. For the purposes of the lesson, pretend that this space is where "Paul" normally sits.

Creative writing is anything where the purpose is to express thoughts, feelings and emotions rather than to simply convey information.

I’ll be focusing on creative fiction in this post (mainly short stories and novels), but poetry, (auto)biography and creative non-fiction are all other forms of creative writing. Here’s a couple of definitions:

11

How about these.. 1) Two friends (one boy, one girl) went hiking and they discover a underground world full of demons and angels (Kind of like Supernatural s plot) and they try to stop the Apocalypse. 2) A teenage girl gets pregnant at 16 and her boyfriend leaves her. Then after the baby was born, he wants back in her life and she says no and he kidnaps the baby. And she tries to save her child even if it means putting her life in danger. 3) A new girl moves and goes to this new high school. The school seems strange to her but as she goes to the school, she discovers a new world full of secrets. (Maybe the "new world" could be a world full of ghosts trying to do something like kill everyone in the school or something.) 4) A girl/boy has an accident and is in a coma, while he/she in his/her coma, they see the future where they get this weird message and after waking up, they try to find out what that means. Hope i helped ! :)
