Decide what kind of advice column that best describes your informed observations. Example - Fashion, Matters of the Heart, Eateries around town. etc. Add in a touch of wit, humour, levity or what ever you want to call it. Be sincere without being judgemental. Be anonymous. Keep it short. Keep the point size of type large enough where the reader doesn t have to squint. Write an essay eluding to these and other qualities (you can think of) to convince "her" you have the moxie and maturity to take on this challenge. Give her an option out. Meaning, if you don t deliver as written, the the column is pulled and you will face ridicule.

She ll probably want to get her opinions out there somewhere else. For example, articledashboard.com offers a way for entrepreneurs, advice columnist, consultants, writers, etc. to submit articles on any topic for use. The bonus is people actively search these out and your friend can include a link to her column and note her expertise. Yahoo! Answers is also a good spot for her to get out there and show people what she s got. She could try answering a question or two here on her normal column topics and include info that she has an advice column at whatever link. Messageboards are also a good way to do that.
