your question is too general. What type of history class are you in? American? World? Anicent? if it can be any topic - here s one that my son wants to do - compare modern Christianity with the ancient Greek and Roman myths - there are alot of similarities in the stories. Zeus is God Hercules is Jesus Hercules is the son of a god, born of a mortal mother. Hercules does great things on earth Hercules dies and goes to live with is god father as a god himself. (my son also believes Superman is the same as hercules). If you compare the Christian beliefs and the greek myths, I m sure you can fill thirty pages pretty easily.

How long a paper? For what grade level? American history (I m guessing, based on the dates)? Depends on your interests, too. If it was me, I might write about the Mexican War, when the US won lots of land from Mexico after a war of naked imperialism, but maybe that wouldn t interest you (and it s a lot easier and more fun to write about stuff you actually find interesting). You ve got way too much to choose from!
